Sources do bootloader da vmware (em andamento)
« Online: 18 de Junho de 2010, 03:09 »
Sei que prometi os sources do bootloader da vmware, mas o cara que administra tá enrolando!
Seguinte, abaixo o ultimo e-mail que ele me enviou, o cara literalmente "tá me tirando".

O e-mail que o panaca me enviou hoje:

Dear Rodrigo,

Thank you for the feedback and the screenshot. Seems like you are using
our VMware Fusion product on your Mac. On your VMware.com account I could not
locate any licenses for this product. Please provide me your license/serial
key so we can update your profile.

Also I can see that from the pages you are being member off
(http://www.hackosx.com.br/) that activities on these pages might be against
use of Apple Mac OS X End User License Agreement. We do not endorse or
recommend any use of our software against use of any terms of conditions for
other companies software or product. Please see our End User License Agreement
from this link.

Dear Ozzy,

Apple E.U.L.A.?
Hummm... I'm in Brazil my friend...
Let-me explain some things for you:

1- I Haven't a Mac, this is Mac OS X in a conventional PC, or Hackintosh.
2- Apple's E.U.L.A. is ILEGAL in Brazil, because they are incompatible with our consumer laws.
3- The fact that I do not give you my vmware credentials isn't reason to steal open source software.
4- Parallels Team give-me their sources, if you don't believe-me you can download it in here:
http://fe.parallels.com/796c56173f377cf6df5a85818051901b/MacBios-Parallels-ChameleonRC1.tbz
or
www.hackosx.com.br/bootloaders/sources/MacBios-Parallels-ChameleonRC1.tbz
5- Like Parallels you will do the same, or I can post in a lot of places on internet: "VMWare is stealing open source software" or send a e-mail to Apple or other good things (for me yeah!).
6- The Mac OS X Virtual Machine is a "Virtual Hackintosh", right?

About laws:

here is small part of APSL

(a)   You must satisfy all the conditions of Section 2.1 with respect to the Source Code of the Covered Code;
(b)   You must duplicate, to the extent it does not already exist, the notice in Exhibit A in each file of the Source Code of all Your Modifications, and cause the modified files to carry prominent notices stating that You changed the files and the date of any change; and
(c)   If You Externally Deploy Your Modifications, You must make Source Code of all Your Externally Deployed Modifications either available to those to whom You have Externally Deployed Your Modifications, or publicly available. Source Code of Your Externally Deployed Modifications must be released under the terms set forth in this License, including the license grants set forth in Section 3 below, for as long as you Externally Deploy the Covered Code or twelve (12) months from the date of initial External Deployment, whichever is longer. You should preferably distribute the Source Code of Your Externally Deployed Modifications electronically (e.g. download from a web site).

Well, I gave you Parallels bootloader sources.
So... where are your sources?
I still waiting.
